Dirhims of Joseph
Let’s imagine that there is a man after 500 years from now claiming to be receiving information from an alien source and once he told people about Alexander of Macedon and said that Alexander took the train westward and then took the plane to the east and used the mobile to contact his government, of course any listener to him will see that he is a liar or lunatic.
But what if this person has followers who believe all his claims with a blind faith?
These people will inevitably interpret his words in twisted ways to continue believing in him: the train means horse-towed vehicles that look lie train vehicles, and the plane means a hummingbird-shaped cart and a mobile means the postman who was carrying messages.
Not only this, it is possible that some of them may go far and claim that the cars actually appeared in his time in the first place as well as trains and mobiles, and they will insist firmly that those who say they appeared in the 20th century are just liars trying to divert people from their religion.
The same holds for holy texts ….
Just like that, if a person in the 7th century AD said about a figure who is supposed to have lived around 2000 B.C. that he used things that did not appear until the 6th century BC.
The normal man will know that he is lying while those deceived by his claims will justify it, twist the text to repair it up and continue self-deceit.
That’s exactly what the author of the Qur’an did. He said Joseph was bought with a price of few dirhams. In Joseph’s time, there was no dirhams, there was no currency whatsoever. No dirhams, no dinars, no other. Trade was done by exchange of commodities.
The first coins appeared about 1,500 years after Joseph’s supposed time.
This is a mistake big enough to prove the humanity of the Qur’an because only one mistake is enough to prove this fact.
So what about hundreds of mistakes we explained in this website so far?
The invention of the Abrahamic God
The Jews invented the idea of the Abrahamic God and never realized that their invention was a double-edged sword and one day this very invention would be responsible for their misfortunes, sufferings, and miseries.
Over time, many deluded people appeared to claim their connection with the Abrahamic God and even claimed that they were the Abrahamic God himself in bone and flesh.
The Jews amplified the Important figures of their history. And with the fact that there is no archaeological evidence to refer to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, and even Solomon and David, these were probably simple tribal chiefs that mythical stories were narrated about them. Some of them may have not even existed. But for the sake of discussion we will assume that they were true figures.
Joseph, according to the Torah and The Qur’an, represents the second or third generation of Abraham’s descendants, separated from him by Jacob and Isaac. That put him around 2000 BC.
Moses, although he also does not exist in any historical trace or inscription, the Torah and the Qur’an make him the man who took the Jews out of Egypt to the Holy Land. This makes his time between 1300 and 1400 B.C., more than 600-700 years after Joseph’s time.
In fact, almost there are no traces of Hebrew figures before Ezekiel, whose time was supported by some archeological evidence and indicated that he lived in the 6th century BC. That is, 800 years after Moses and about 1,400 years after Joseph.
The period of Solomon, who is found only in the Torah and Qur’an with no supporting archeological evidence so far, dates supposedly back 100 years before Ezekiel.
Dirhims (Drachmas)
Quran stated that the price of Joseph was paid in counted dirhims.
Dirhims and Dinars were the existing coins during Mohammed’s time and he mistakenly though they were existent since forever.
The appearance of the first coin dating back to the 6th or 7th century BC. More than 500 years after Moses’ supposed time, the first dirham or drachma appeared in Greece around 600 BC. More than 1,400 years after Jacob’s and Joseph’s time.
Before that time and even in other regions during that time, buying and selling was done by exchanging goods.
Quran’s claim that dirhims were existent during Joseph time is a mistake.
And this single mistake is a enough evidence to prove that Quran is human-authored. And his author doesn’t know when the first coin was made.
This link from the Encyclopedia Britannica shows the date of the appearance of the dirham, which was invented around the 6th century BC.
The price of Joseph
The Qur’an did not know the date of the appearance of the dirhams and did not know how to arrange its stories in time. In fact, the Qur’an is completely confused in terms of time and dates, there is no single date for a single event, and the order of time is totally disturbed in many parts of the text.
وَشَرَوْهُ بِثَمَنٍ بَخْسٍ دَرَاهِمَ مَعْدُودَةٍ وَكَانُوا فِيهِ مِنَ الزَّاهِدِينَ (20)
And they sold him for a cheap price, some counted dirhims, only wanting to get rid of him. Quran-Sura 12 verse 20
Quran author was always confused regarding time. This is because the delusional disorder patients lose the ability to demarcate between different times.
In another instance Mohammed confused the time of Moses with that of Christ.
In one verse for example he said Mary is the daughter of Amram (Aron’s father):
وَمَرْيَمَ ابْنَتَ عِمْرَانَ الَّتِي أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهِ مِنْ رُوحِنَا وَصَدَّقَتْ بِكَلِمَاتِ رَبِّهَا وَكُتُبِهِ وَكَانَتْ مِنَ الْقَانِتِينَ (12)
There is also the example of Mary daughter of Imran who self- guarded her vulva so we blew spirit into it….Quran 66:12
And in another conforming verse he said that Mary is the sister of Aron’s:
فَأَتَتْ بِهِ قَوْمَهَا تَحْمِلُهُ قَالُوا يَامَرْيَمُ لَقَدْ جِئْتِ شَيْئًا فَرِيًّا (27) يَاأُخْتَ هَارُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ امْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا (28)
O Mary the sister of Aron, your father was not an indecent man, and your mother was not a whore. Quran – 19:28

Summary
Quran has never mentioned a single true date of any event. It was totally flawed regarding dates and even geographic places.
During the supposed time of Joseph, the grandson of Abraham according to Quran, there was no dirhims, no dinars, no coins at all.
Quran author couldn’t grasp adequate time perception of his figures which he borrowed from the bible.
He did not have a notion of a possible time for Joseph and he didn’t know when the first Dirhims (Drachmas in Greek) or any coins appeared.
